WEEK APRIL 27th

Tuesday was the day that the children came to the university. They had a lot of fun, but they didn’t take the emotional side of the activities very seriously.

Here is how the day went: In the kids picked a color based on their mood, and then used it to paint a paper. They enjoyed the painting, but chose colors more for fun than for their actual feelings. In the second one, they used clay to make objects representing tough feelings like frustration. They loved building things, but treated it more like playtime than a serious reflection. The, for the third activity, they put their work together into a big mural to show how they could help a friend dealing with hard emotions. They liked working together, but the final ideas were pretty simple because they were just focused on having fun.

Overall, it was a fun day for them, but they missed the deeper meaning of the activities.
