WEEK FEB 16th
This week, our task was to recreate Van Gogh’s Sunflowers using a traditional painting technique. To do this, we prepared our own paint using an egg based binder and primary color pigments.
The process began by separating the egg yolk from the white. Then, we placed small amounts of each pigment into separate containers. To achieve colors beyond the primary palette, we had to mix the pigments until we reached the desired shades. Once the paint was ready, we proceeded to draw and paint our own version of the famous still life.
